About Us

danielleMy name is Danielle Mattia and I am the owner and designer at Party Excellence. As I have always had a love for drawing, art, style and design, I knew I wanted to work somewhere, where I could be creative.  In 1996 at age 16 I began working  at Party Excellence. It is the first and only place I have ever worked. It was then owned by Jen (the woman who started the company in 1990) and Angela. I started by making centerpiece bases, pulling balloons and ribbons and doing mostly party preparation and set up. Soon after Angela became the sole owner and took me under her wing.

Through the years I gained experience, and began to have more input on the designs of all of our decor. As the industry style changed from hand painted and airbrushed art to digital art, I chose to get my degree in graphic design. I became skilled in all programs essential for creating digital art. It was then that I became the primary creative force behind every event. Working with our clients personally, I developed an understanding of their vision, and enhanced their ideas, bringing them to life. I realized that this was something I excelled in and LOVED to do!

In 2011 Angela decided to retire, and I took over ownership. Using over 15 years experience with hundreds of events, I have successfully allowed Party Excellence to continue to grow. Style and being on trend is a passion for me personally as well as professionally. I apply that to every detail for every event. Party Excellence is now a family owned and operated business, and we are dedicated to the “excellence” of every event!
